Application's main screen

The table shows the following details:

1. Application icon;
2. Application screen name;
3. Local version or "n/a" if application is not installed;
4. Version available for downloading from the server or "n/a" if the list of application was not loaded yet;

Application installation progress and main menu

The table shows all installed applications with their actual versions. Selected application can be updated, hidden, removed, beamed or launched.

It is possible to launch selected application from the SmartUpdate tool.

Application Details dialog

The dialog shows the application details:

1. Application's name;
2. Local version or "n/a" if application is not installed
3. version available for downloading from the server or "n/a" if the list of application was not loaded;
4. Application's description;
5. List of files belongs to the application;
6. Other information, as defined in input XML file;

Deleting application

Any application can be deleted at any time to free the space. It deletes only program itself, overlays and library files. All data files and preferences will stay untouched. To delete the application completely, use the standard PalmOS "Delete" feature.

This screenshot also shows the usage of FontBucket fonts.

Beaming applications

Using "Beam" dialog you can transfer the selected application with all their overlays and databases (if any present) to another Palm device.

Dialog shows the list of files which belongs to application, their size and checkbox which get checked if file was successfully transmitted. If the installation of application is damaged (not all files are installed or they are optional and was deleted later after installation), the file name gets red and size is shown as "-".

About SmartUpdate

The "About" dialog shows the version of the application.

Small checkbox on the very bottom of the dialog is checked if the SmartUpdate successfully verifies own code integrity.
